About Our Club...

*********** Girls section has now started and is proving popular every Wedensday at the Allander ********** Walk Football is taking the Allander by storm every Monday ********** Many Congratulations to our 1997's who won the Dumbartonshire football League.

The Club was founded in 1988 by Stuart Millan and a couple of local Dads, it was named Milngavie Boys Club. They did a great job to keep local boys playing football and off the streets.

Eventually, we as a Committee took over and have turned it in to a Quality Mark Club.

We currently have 24 teams over 13 age groups from 2007/8 born to our first Amateur Team. We also now have our Disability Class which has been a massive success. After Easter we are also starting our girls section.

In three years we have achieved an award each year, November 2012 SFA Standard Quality Mark, November 2013 SFA Development Quality Mark and December 2014 our Disability Club Quality Mark. We are hoping to achieve our fourth this November with our Community Quality Mark. This is a massive achievement for all involved with the Club.

By natural progression our name has now changed to Milngavie Football Club. We now have 9 committee members and over 50 coaches.

All our committee and coaches are Volunteers. They have all gone through their SFA coaching badges, achieved their Sports First Aid Training Certificates and are all PVG checked.
Our Disability coaches have attended the Disability Coaching course and achieved their badges and are currently about to attend a Sign Language Course.
